Shabu Zone and Grill aka Sazori, Arena Mentari, Sunway Food Review

Feeling great on a Saturday morning, the brunch was set to be at Shabu Zone and Grill also known as Sazori located at Sunway in a place called Arena Mentari.
This restaurant does not serve pork and therefore is safe for Muslims to eat.

You can choose to have either the soup only or along with the grill.
For sauces, they had 6 types which is Sazori Specialty Sauce, Sweet Sauce, Homemade BBQ Sauce, Roasted Sesame Sauce, Homemade Peanut Sauce and Homemade Chili Sauce.
You can add in for taste too with some Cili Padi, Spring Onion, Fried Shallot, Fried Garlic and Light Soy Sauce and you can mix and match as you please. As for me, I didn't even use the sauces throughout the entire brunch session. Only tasted each of them once to find out how nice it is and from then on, the ingredients in the boiling pot of soup does the work or putting them on the grill is nice enough.

There are four types of soup at Sazori, and they are:
Tom Yum Soup
Boiling right here like a witches brew. Spiciest among all the soup with an equally sour taste as well.

Ponzu Soup
A unique herbalish tasting kind of soup that you will find you either like it or you don't. It looks black as night.

Beef Soup
With all it's beefy goodness. LOL. Here it looks like a steamed spa session. My 2nd favorite soup in this restaurant.

Clear Chicken Soup
Safest choice of all where I'm sure it's appealing to everyone's taste buds. However, when it got to the bottom, all the ingredients in it tasted really really salty. Seemed to have absorbed up all the flavorings of it at the bottom when the soup was done.

They also had a special meat menu to order and these were on it that time.
Sliced Beef
Sliced Lamb
Beef Bacon Strips (My fave of all even though it's not pork bacon)
Chuko Idako (Seasoned Baby Octopus)
Chicken Ham
I tried grilling one of these and it stick to the griller so badly. Lesson learned. Don't put chicken ham on it because it's too fragile to handle the harsh condition of the griller. LOL.

Chicken Gyoza
It's okay.

There are lots of other countless items at the conveyor belt where you can just pick off it. Green dish costs RM2, Orange dish cost RM3 and the Blue dish costs RM4.
Sazori has a dining time limit of 120 minutes whereby after that, every 10 minutes will be charged RM5.
Also, take what you need only too because every 100g of food wastage will be charged RM10.
At the end of the session, we were offered Fortune Cookies!
Looks really familiar. Like the ones I ate at Si Chuan Dou Hua in Parkroyal. LOL.

This time it reads "You're surrounded by true friends". Right. Maybe during this food review session. LOL.
