Guinness Xmas Bold Confessions Media Launch

The year is coming to a close and before it's done, Guinness would like to encourage it's consumers to be bold and that they're made of more by confessing to something, own up to something they've done or to open up and let people in on a secret about themselves that nobody else knows.
During the media launch event last week at The Apartment, KLCC, I was there in participation to support fellow friends of mine.

For this campaign, Guinness Malaysia has set up a Guinness Bold Confessions Booth where Guinness fans and supporters will be able to record their confessions on it where they will be rewarded with vouchers for free pints of Guinness and the chance to win an invite to the exclusive 'Guilty as Charged' Year-End party. The Bold Confessions Booth will be visiting outlets throughout Klang Valley in November and December, appearing at various outlets each week.
At the upcoming 'Guilty as Charged' year-end party, our local personalities, Kyoto Protocol, Paper Plane Pursuit front man John O and comedian Prakash Daniel will be joining in on the fun.
If you're a lazy person like me who dislike to get off your butt and go to the Bold Confessions Booth, you can actually do it from the comfort of your own home through social media. Just record a video confession, post it in Instagram and use the hashtag #BoldConfessions. Remember to tag @GuinnessMY.

Bruce Dallas, Guinness Anchor Berhad (GAB) Marketing Director explained the thinking of the campaign during the launch,"As the year draws to a close, thoughts turn to all that has happened over the last 12 months, and ahead to resolutions for the new one. Most of us have done something in the past year to which we’d like to confess and get it off our chest, whether it’s not using that expensive gym membership or admitting a guilty pleasure.

But it’s also a time of year when we like to celebrate and have fun, and that’s what these confessions are – it’s a chance to celebrate who you really are, in a light-hearted and guilt-free way. At Guinness we are all about making bold choices, inspiring our consumers to take a step forward and prove that they are Made of More. With our exciting new Christmas campaign, we’re challenging our consumers to stand up, ‘fess up in our Bold Confessions Booth, and be rewarded for their boldness."
