Baci Italian Cafe, Citta Mall Food Review

It was pretty hard for me to start on this post. With things clouding my mind, it's hard to steer clear of that matter that just occupy my mind constantly making me thinking about it. Sure I'm not obligated to write this post. But I just felt like I want to. Although it's been more than a week and I was late posting about the charity drive they had, I still feel the want to post on the food that I had consumed.

With all negativity aside, here's what went down.

Citta Mall is a place I frequent where upon heavy downpour and roads massively congested with vehicles, even the back roads that leads to my home, that's the time I'll turn into Citta Mall for refuge and wait and wade till the roads become clearer.

During that day, it came as a surprise to me on how small a group we were on a very laidback and casual setting. I settled in first with some Sinful Chocolate priced at RM10.90:
Delightful for my taste. Not too sweet and had the right kind of chocolate taste that I like.

After chattering for awhile, the food began to be served to us and to my amazement, the picture taking was over in less than a minute. That helps to get a better taste of the food while it's still hot.

We had a pasta served to us which was the Smoked Duck & Shiitake Spaghetti:
It was pleasant and as usual, I love the taste of Smoked Duck. There's a little kick to it coming from some spice that's in it which makes it all the more better to me. The Garlic Bread in the dish seems a little odd to me as it didn't go with the pasta dish. This costs RM19.90.

Here's the Oxtail Stew (RM23.90):
This Oxtail stew is nice, meaty and chunky and goes well with Garlic Bread dipped in it. It may not be the best oxtail stew I had but still a delicious one.

Chicken & Mushroom Pie (RM18.90):
It's a very nice and savory dish. The puff pastry on top is buttery, crispy and tasty going well with the broth hidden beneath it.
For a price of just RM18.90, I'm surprise of it's generous portion of ingredients beneath.
The things inside are just as nice as the pastry on top and the broth. The mixture altogether is certainly a good combination and if you have some Garlic Bread, dipping on the broth is sublime.

This is called the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (RM16.90):
The bun used for the sandwich was lovely. Other than that, can't remember much of the taste besides the veggies being fresh. Can't remember it being spicy like how the pasta is though.

The last main dish we had was the Bolognese Pizza (RM20.90):
A 9" pizza that contains beef bolognese, capsicum, arugula and mozzarella cheese. Not bad. But my favorite goes to the Chicken and Mushroom Pie. Tastiest for me.

With the mains done, we had some cake slices for dessert:

This is where I ordered a Latte to go with the cakes:
Baci is very conveniently located at a location near me. LOL. The address is:
Lot G47, Ground Floor, Citta Mall
No.1, Jalan PJU 1A/48, Ara Damansara
47301 Petaling Jaya, Selangor

Opening hours, I guess would be the same as standard mall's time, Daily, 10am-10pm.
