BPL Trophy Arrives in Malaysia!

As the league's official beer partner, Carlsberg has launch it's newest BPL consumer camapign where it expects to strengthen friendship bonds as much as football fans' love for the brew in Malaysia. In the launch event, it displays the BPL Trophy in it's full glory for the invited guests and the public to see before it heads off cross borders making stops throughout Klang Valley, Penang and Johor for a tour.
The launch event were held at Publika Shopping Gallery on the 29 August, 2014 where the BPL trophy toured the country till 31 of August, 2014 after that, with the customized truck cum display platform, The Carlsberg 'Champions Trophy Truck' carrying it around.
During it's tour around, football fans were able to take photos and videos with the trophy and even stood a chance to win BPL memorabilia by taking a 'selfie' with the official BPL trophy or snap a photo of the 'Champions Trophy Truck' whenever they spot it on the road and sharing it on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #CarlsbergTrophyTour.
Back at the event, Henrik Juel Andersen, Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia said, " This BPL season, Carlsberg will focus on 3 things, beer, football and friendship. Football is as much about the supporters as it is the clubs and it has been said that the sport belongs to the fans who support it week in week out. As the official beer partner of the BPL, we kick started the season by rewarding our consumers with an experience that few in the world can say they’ve had. There will be many more moments of glory and timeless friendship throughout the season and we invite our consumers to enjoy these memorable and unique Carlsberg moments with friends."

Carlsberg also unveiled the details of its latest consumer promotion that will run from September 1, 2014 to October 31, 2014. This time around, Carlsberg is giving each grand prize winner the money-can't-buy opportunity to attend the 'Ultimate BPL Retreat' with 3 of their closest friends. It will be a 2 days 1 night immersion in football experience while bonding with their closest friends over ice-cold Carlsberg.
