Wang Zi Mix Rice (什饭王子), Taipan, USJ, Subang Jaya

I have to admit, I'm not a person who eats mix rice. Not even during normal working weekday lunch hours. But I decided to go out of my ordinary way to try this out:
It's called Wang Zi Mix Rice.

Unlike the usual mix rice stalls which you find located inside a restaurant with other food stalls, this is a place of it's own.
I went to the place close to lunch time, so that I can beat the lunch crowd.

During my visit there, there's already a plethora of dishes line up neatly towards the back of the shop:
And there were more coming out from the kitchen as they were being cooked.
There's a total of more than 60 dishes laid out that day and they do this on a daily basis!

Some of the food there on that day:
Gu Lou Yuk. Pork meat with sweet sour sauce. This is one of their popular dish with their customers and so, it's available daily.

Some Century Eggs (top) and Bitter Gourd (bottom):
Another item that's available daily:
Petai! My favorite.

Marmite Chicken:
Friends said it taste okay. But to me, I would like a stronger Marmite taste in 'em.

More meat stuff on the left and I believe that's pumpkin on the right:
Fried chicken:
Bean Sprouts:
And many, many more:
Not all dishes are made daily. They usually like to mix it up a bit and do some other new dishes. Only select few popular ones will be made on a daily basis.

On top of that, Chinese tea, water and soup are free.
Just need to take it on your own.

Being an outlet by itself allows the freedom to control the cleanliness which can be a plus point if they're on top of it.

Wang Zi Mix Rice is at:
36, Jalan USJ 10/1B, USJ Taipan, Subang Jaya, Selangor 47620 Puchong

Open daily from 10am-9pm
