Tune Hotel KLIA2 #RoomerHasIt Pyjama Party

With the recent opening of Tune Hotel at the vicinity of KLIA2, they decided to celebrate by organizing a Pyjama Party on Saturday, May 31, 2014.
Along with us bloggers and medias both local and international, there were 10 individual winners from the Tune Hotels' #RoomerHasIt Facebook campaign that joined us along with their friends and families with each having a complimentary double room to sleepover for the night.

I initially wanted to arrive early and check out the surroundings since I've never been to KLIA2 but opted out due to other pressing matters. And so, I arrived at Tune Hotel KLIA2 an hour before the registration for the party starts to check in to my room.

Such a lovely view even from just the 4th:
The vast empty space of greens that disappears into the horizon.

There are a total of 312 Double Rooms, 84 Twin Rooms and 4 Family Rooms in Tune Hotel KLIA2 and I was staying at one of their Double Rooms:
Yup. Small yet enough for me and cozy.

It's room is equipped with a sleek writing table, a foldable luggage platform that is stored away if unused and a 32-inch flat screen LED TV.

A view of the Bathroom:
It has a high-pressure shower head that provides more than adequate heat if you so desire a hot shower.

The view from my room looks directly into the outer courtyard where the party takes place.
As you can see, they're still doing some final setup during the final moments.

Okay, enough about the hotel. Let's party!
Okay, so it's still early. But you can start off by getting your face painted:
Like what Quachee did or perhaps get a caricature done:
Like what Iris did. :D

Sun sets and night falls. And pretty soon, the first performance by Tune Hotels' very own Eugene See sang for us:
Then, later on, Group CEO of Tune Hotels Mark Lankester gave us a little insight on Tune Hotel KLIA2:
“We are thrilled with the opening of Tune Hotel KLIA2 which has already received an overwhelming response and very strong forward bookings from travelers around the region. Through the #RoomerHasIt social media campaign we wanted to introduce and create further awareness of our latest design and fit-out to previous guests as well as the fantastic facilities at KLIA2, the world’s largest purpose-built airport for low cost carriers. There’s no better way to do that than have them immersed in the hotel itself.”

He further added,“Much has been said about the huge size of the new KLIA2 terminal and it is impressively large. By hosting these winners and their guests at the Tune Hotel KLIA2, we want to illustrate just how convenient it is to have a great sleep or enjoy the services within the hotel while waiting for their next flight and the convenience of strolling over to the terminal without rushing and with time on your side. Business and leisure guests as well as airline passengers on connecting flight extended waits will enjoy a totally improved experience and most importantly a very comfortable and refreshing stay with more amenities.”

The night went on with more performances by Youtube sensation Elizabeth Tan:
and award-winning recording artiste and singer-songwriter Melissa Indot:
Other activities of fun include a giant Jenga set:
A Bingo like game (not really):
Fill in names of people in the card that corresponds to the capability of them performing the task written in there. Cannot repeat.

A selfie corner:
And the grand prize given to the best dressed donned in a pyjama:
Guess who? Guess who? The Japanese style, guy on the right most.

It ended with the DJ spinning tunes away with people dancing around, including the TripAdvisor Owl:
Tune Hotels is part of Tune Group, a lifestyle business conglomerate co-founded by Tan Sri Tony Fernandes and Datuk Kamarudin Meranun, who are the Group CEO and Executive Chairman respectively of Asia’s largest low cost carrier AirAsia.

There are currently 45 Tune Hotels available for booking across Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, England, Scotland, Australia, India and Japan.
