Movida Grand Anniversary Party with a Hyundai i10 Grand Prize

After a hearty meal at Bariuma, I went off to Movida, Sunway Giza for their grand anniversary celebration!
Outside of it's flagship outlet, there were streams of people and that's because that their DJ booth was set outside pumping the beats away. There's more people in line waiting to get in too! Thankfully, I was spotted by the Carlsberg staff who brought me in. I'm so glad they could recognize me. XD

There were 10 mini lucky draw winners all having a chance to win the grand prize of a brand new Hyundai i10 car.
Besides the car, there were other great prizes given out as well. It's done to reward its loyal customers for their support over the years and this has been done at it's respective outlets in the Klang Valley in the past two weeks. Patrons who bought any beer packages at Movida outlets would be entitled an entry for the lucky draw. At each of the mini draw, two iPhone 5s and three iPad mini were given out plus cash vouchers.

When I arrived at the scene, DJ Naz was on the deck spinning away tunes:
I haven't started getting into the groove yet at that time. LOL.

Throughout the years, Movida has formed a successful partnership with Carlsberg Malaysia which is the beer sponsor for the Grand Anniversary celebration.

"We are amazed at Movida's success in the last few years and it's all thanks to our loyal customers who have never stopped to support us, day in and day out. That is why this year we are offering more than RM100,000 worth of prizes for lucky draw winners with the grand prize of a brand new car," said Roger Hew, the brainchild behind Movida.

I started off with a shot of this hard liquor:
Leng Yein cheated and poured away some of hers till my shot glass was brimming with Jager :/
Anyway, I did enjoy having more of it. :P
I stuck with Jager with some tonic soda as mixers for the rest of the night.

Oh yeah, Leng Yein was the highlight DJ of the night:
Fun fact: Movida which means 'party' in Cuban street slang, first started operations in 2010, the same year it was recognized as one of the Top Ten Best F&B outlets by Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards. Business boomed thanks to the FIFA World Cup championship in 2010 and ever since then, Movida has opened another six outlets of which five are within the Klang Valley and one in Malacca.
So after DJ Naz was done with his set, DJ Andrew Anderson hit the stage:

But before that, this lucky bugger won the car:

The party never ends with Movida so look out for another year of thrilling success as it offers more exciting promotions for consumers.
