Songket Restaurant 4th Anniversary Celebration

Earlier this month, Songket Restaurant which is located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia celebrated their 4th anniversary and had some 100 guests comprising of corporates, hoteliers, travel agents and media attending it's feast.
The place has a traditional charm to it where it is housed in a bungalow that is converted to resemble a village house and has an inner ground from the road that leads in to it.
The restaurant mainly serves authentic Malay cuisines which infuse a modern twist to it and on that night, they also unveiled a brand new exciting menu.

The night with it's lucky draw prizes riling up the attendees had a buffet feast spread out to appease the hungry when dinnertime arrives.

The buffet spread consists of the following things to go with the rice out of the many other side items for the guests' consumption.

Ayam Rempah Bertumis:
Masak Lemak Ayam Dengan Nangka:
This is one of their house specialty.

Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api:

Ikan Lemak Asam Gelugur:
Ikan Lemak Asam Tempoyak:
Udang Sos Mentega:
Sotong Goreng Kunyit:
Baby Kailan Sos Tiram:
Desserts sitting pretty at it's designated place having a very inviting appeal to onlookers.
It may take a little effort but the KLCC Twin Towers bright city lights are visible in the distance of the night sky from the outdoor atmosphere of Songket while The Intermark is in full view since it's just behind Songket.
Songket also provided some entertainment in the form of Malaysian multi-cultural dance performance.
They invited the audience to participate as well.
