Ambi Pur Smelly to Smiley Campaign

I guess we can all agree that one way or another we have experience the need to go to a public toilet and when we're in it, it stinks to high heaven. No doubt there's been quite an improvement throughout the century on Malaysian public toilets but there still exist many that has their foul odor lingering heavily.
Ambi Pur Malaysia has embarked on a campaign to turn Malaysia's smelly places into smileys meaning getting rid of the smelly odors with their fragrant fresheners and YOU can help make a difference! How?! By voting for the smelliest public area in Malaysia on Ambi Pur's Facebook page and the smelliest places by votes will get Ambi Pur to spring into action, turning "Smelly to Smiley".

Based on the findings for Malaysia, 87% felt it is their social responsibility to help fix an unpleasant smelling area, yet many do not know how to actively contribute to tackle such problems.  The APAACS also revealed that the first thing most Malaysians would do to relieve unpleasant odours is to reach out for an air freshener. Many would also simply walk away to avoid the smell.

In light of these findings, Ambi Pur launched the Smelly to Smiley campaign to tackle the problem, once and for all!  Instead of walking away, Ambi Pur wants Malaysians to take charge and vote for the place they think needs the most help.

Not too long ago, Ambi Pur Malaysia launched the campaign with their first Smelly To Smiley road show at Aeon, Taman Maluri.
It was hosted by Henry Golding where Hafiz & Hani Hatim and Dan Khoo made an appearance.
And with the 3 guests they were to put Ambi Pur to the test.
First they were blindfolded:
And then led into a room that's messy and filled with some food stuffs that's opened and some dirty clothes, kinda like my room only minus the food stuffs. LOL.
In the room, they were to rate whether the room smells nice or horrible with their smiley and sad face placard:
Well, all of them held up their smiley faces! That's because prior to their entry to the room that's been filled with things that smell (there's even an opened durian in there!), it's been sprayed with Ambi Pur fresheners to smell nice.

We let Malaysians decide which public place needs a refresh the most, and we’ll transform it from Smelly to a Smiley.  Ambi Pur’s superior technology does not simply mask over unpleasant smells but it completely removes them. All Ambi Pur products are also safe for use and comply with the most stringent standards and safety regulations, making it the number one air freshener brand in Malaysia. ” commented Ms. Choy May Yee, Assistant Brand Manager of Procter & Gamble.
Hani & Hafiz will also be appearing in 3 other Ambi Pur roadshows which is:
  1. Aeon Big Mid Valley, 5 October (Already held)
  2. Giant USJ, 2 November
  3. Aeon Bukit Tinggi, 9 November.
So be sure to check it out.

Also, on the Ambi Pur's vote for Malaysia's smelliest location Facebook App, you also stand a chance of winning an iPad Mini! For further details head on to
