The secret service agents that deal with extraterrestrial activities known as Men in Black is back with the third movie.
As usual, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones resume their roles as Agent J and Agent K. This time, the story involves a dangerous alien criminal known as Boris the Animal (it's just Boris! He quips). The alien rogue was imprisoned at a high level security prison on the moon thanks to Agent K's effort back in 1969. But now, Boris the Animal has escaped with the aid of his girlfriend and is attempting to seek vengeance over his imprisonment and the loss of his arm. He intended to go back to the past to kill K but before that, confronted Agent J and Agent K.
Later that night, after the confrontation which led to Boris unable to kill the present Agent J and Agent K and the Agents not being able to apprehend Boris, the Agents returned home with an unfinished story due to Agent K's reluctance to relate to Agent J on what happened in 1969. That night, Agent K disappeared from existence indicating that Boris was successful in killing him in the past.
Agent J woke up in the morning to resume as normal but strangely couldn't find Agent K at his place. Not suspecting much, he proceeded to the MIB's headquarters to find out that the life he knew had been replaced. Seeing the disaster of the current life he's having with the Boglodites invading earth without the ArcNet protecting the earth, he managed to obtain information from Agent O that time travel is possible and who to find to get the time travel device. Wasting no time, he set towards this mission with little information going back in time to 1969 to prevent Boris the Animal from killing Agent K and to restore back to how the way it was.
After a not so great sequel (to me) in Men In Black 2 (but still a watchable one), they sure did made a good comeback with Men In Black 3. But to me, the first movie was still the best among the three. This movie did deserve the recognition it got by toppling The Avengers from the top of the box office. I rate this movie 4 stars out of 5, the next must watch movie after The Avengers.
