Shadows of Love (2012) Movie Review

Yet another Chinese movie. Seems to be teeming with them this month. LOL.
This one no Hokkien dialogues in it, though. LOL.

This show stars Korean actor Kwon Sang Woo as a rich handsome successful CEO, Quan. His girlfriend is Paris, a tough, successful go getter who always gets what she wants and gets her way. After a quarrel between the 2, Paris flew over to Korea on a business trip but was missing and news report of an avalanche tragedy has worried Quan which prompted him to rush to the airport to go over to Korea to find her. But along the way to the airport, Quan saw what appears to be Paris and followed her car to where she's going.

When Quan confronted her, she seems to be very different from Paris yet she resembles her appearance in every way. He soon found out that it's actually Qin Xin, a florist who's personality is directly the opposite of what Paris is.

Quan thought of the idea to have Qin Xin disguise as Paris to mull over some crisis in the company, particularly, to fool Paris' uncle from making a decision that Quan does not like.

Is Qin Xin able to step into Paris' shoes and learn the ropes from her entirely different life? Watch the movie to find out!

This is like your typical Korean love drama show with the love story as the attraction. But the storyline doesn't appeal to me and neither on how it started off. What's with the minute long credits running in the beginning? That utterly bores me out of my mind even though it's just a minute. And I certainly don't appreciate the cheap production way of putting a scenery at the background but you can clearly see that it's fake and that it's made indoors. I'm sorry, this show just doesn't cut out for me. But it might appeal to women who just wanna watch a handsome Korean actor. I rate this 1.5 stars out of 5.

If you just wanna watch her, youtube clips would do. This movie is leaning towards torture.
