Zouk @ Sepang 2012

The Saturday night of April 7, 2012 was a happening one as I made my way to Sepang for the event, Zouk@Sepang. After having an early morning with the Honda Jazz Hybrid Test Drive (thanks to Ryan Mo) and a restful evening where the rain helped me to snooze away till the night came, I eagerly set out to the venue right after my dinner.

After what seemed like forever at the entrance (have no idea what's the hold up with the floodgate of people trying to get in), I managed to enter the venue and head straight for the stage to see who's on the DJ decks.

The entrance area before going into the BIG dance area.

As you enter, you'll see an area for you to win prizes, free drinks, the same concept as the Future Music Festival Asia 2012 with the same types of games in it, such as the knockout booth:

and the wind chamber booth:

When I made my way to the dance floor, I only saw a sea of people all towards the direction of the DJ deck. The time that I arrived there was around 10.30pm and so the ones that were on the DJ deck was DJ Blink n Goldfish:

I quite like the music they spin which never seizes to get me in the party mood. This one was no different.

Since these duo was already on stage, that could only mean I've missed tyDi spinning his tunes which was before them. I saw tyDi in action once back in 2010 at Euphoria, Ministry of Sound thanks to them and find his music quite catchy. Nonetheless, was glad I caught Blink & Goldfish.

Angger Dimas came on stage after them and surprisingly, I like his music the most for the night!

He really brought out the energy of music on the stage and I enjoyed very much listening and dancing along to it.

Earlier on before tyDi, DJs that had already performed which I did not catch are Terence C and Xu and Mr. Nasty and HypeEmBeats.

After Angger Dimas came Bobby Burns:

Then, the moment most have been waiting for has arrived, Afrojack, No. 7 of the top 100 DJ of 2011 came on to work his magic:

His set ended at 2.30am and that's a wrap for the wonderful night.

Haha, so I thought of that about myself too. But the trick for me is usually to have a nap in the afternoon before the event.

Oh yes. This one I agree with you. :D
