Creativity in Motion Fashion Show by Limkokwing

Early before Christmas, on the 22nd of December 2011, at this location:

Publika Square at Solaris Dutamas, houses a bustling event in an otherwise quiet place.
Limkokwing brought together again it's Creativity in Motion series as it ends the year with it celebrating along with Christmas and the graduating class of Fashion and Retail Design students.

This term's class consists of 18 designers where their collections' inspiration came from Arabic Abayas, Indian textiles, Japanese Samurais just to name a few.

There were a number of performances done by the talented bunch from the Limkokwing University's Sound and Music Design Academy:

The show was hosted by the two who are the anchors of "The Magic of Limkokwing - the World in One Place" radio show, Malaz Elnaiem (UK) and Jonah Sithole (Zimbabwe):

Even Jonah gave a performance:

The fashion show that was displayed came by the multitudes. Here are photos of some that I got a shot of (pardon me for the poor quality as I wasn't in a great position in shooting the models as they past by):

And after a final walk by the designers accompanied by a model wearing their design, awards were presented to students with the best techniques and most creative collections.

Here's the list of the award winners:
Most Innovative Designer: Shakirah Idora Bt Jangir
Most Creative Collection: Yeap Shu Wen
Most Creative Collection: Gabrielle Ashley Boudville
Most Creative In Conceptualisation: Violinawaty Nurmatias
Most Creative in Textiles: Niloofar Faghihi
