7 Japanese Words A Week - May 12, 2010

Today we're looking at things in the sky.

1) Bird - tori (鳥, とり)
2) Clouds - kumo (
雲, くも)
3) Stars - hoshi (
星, ほし)
4) Sky - sora (
空, そら)
5) Plane - hikouki (
飛行機, ひこうき)
6) Sun - taiyou (
太陽, たいよう)
7) Rain - ame (
雨, あめ)

i like to learn japanese word..
last time when i still stdy..
i took a japanese class..
3 kind of japanese writing..
most hard is kanji..
now i just buy a book from kinokuniya klcc..

Nice to pick up Japanese guess for those Chinese educated would be much easier to learn. Are those Chinese words or Japanese? tQ.

Those words in Kanji originated from Chinese so it's actually Chinese words but read in Japanese.

You're right. Chinese do have the advantage of learning as they already know the meaning of the word. They just need to know how to read it in Japanese.

But as for me, I don't know how to read Chinese. :p

LOL. Nope. I read a bit of Japanese lah. The Hiragana and Katakana, but Kanji I only know a bit.
