After going to Chinatown at Singapore, headed on down to the URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority) centre.

Bye bye Chinatown.

Hello URA City Gallery.~

This is where you get to see a birds eye view of Singapore via miniature models of Singapore. It also showcases highlights and what's new and happening around Singapore city.

In here you get to see how well-planned on developments in Singapore has to be so that it has a mixture of greeneries and the bustling hi-rise buildings.

There are around 50 permanent exhibits that comprise of interactive simulations/videos for your viewing pleasure and also some quizzes about Singapore and some fun facts.

Admission is free, but I understand that there's also a Guided Tour that is available on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11.30am. This however will be charged a fee of S$6.00 for adults and S$4.00 for students and senior citizens above 60 years old.

The nearest MRT station to this place would be Tanjong Pagar or Chinatown. It's actually walking distance from Chinatown about 5 minutes away.

The address is: 45 Maxwell Road. Level 1 to 3. The URA Centre, Singapore 069118.

Opening hours would be Mondays - Saturdays from 9am till 5pm.

And after visiting there, went opposite to the Maxwell Food Court to eat. :)
